      On August 28, 2023, we learned about procedure text. As usual, Miss Mega gave us a bunch of questions and tasks. She also paired us into groups to complete the tasks. We learned about the meaning of procedure text, the general structure, and the language features.

    I'll share the topic that I learned:


Structure:

- Goal

     This section provide information about the aims and objectives and predicts a conclusion

-Materials

    This section lists the materials or ingredients needed to perform a procedure or steps 

-Steps

    This section lists the sequence of instructions to achieve the goal a written sequence of steps



Language Features:

-Present tense

-Imperative

-Connectives

-Action verbs

Trash is a problem that is not effectively addressed yet. Many people still lack awareness of how to properly manage trash. An example can be found on the coastline of Chicago, United stages. There are numerous trash bins on the coastline, but garbage often pills up and spills out, making an unpleasant smell. The coastline looks dirty because there is trash everywhere, and animal going through. The garbage can bother tourists. Additionally, trash is thrown away without sorting it into categories like organic and non- organic, which means workers have to extra work to deal with it. Trash not only makes the environment worse but also spread diseases like diarrhea, fever, and skin Injections. So, it is important to teach people how to dispose of trash properly. That can help reduce a small portion of the waste in the surrounding environment.

The trash pile in the cafeteria of SMK Negeri 4 Semarang

            Waste is defined as items that are no longer suitable for use. In Indonesia, waste management remains a problem that has not been effectively addressed. Indonesia has even been named the third-largest contributor of waste in the world. One significant source of waste in Indonesia comes from schools.      The majority of schools in Indonesia have yet to embrace environmentally friendly practices, leading to a proliferation of plastic waste on school premises. This waste accumulates, worsening the school environment, especially in areas like the school cafeteria. The cafeteria, intended for food sales, often becomes cluttered with waste.      Take, for instance, SMK Negeri 4 Semarang's cafeteria. The Indonesian society has not been wise in choosing its leader

    On February 14, 2024, the Indonesian society collectively held a general election. After four presidential and vice-presidential debates, the public was obliged to choose one of the candidate pairs. Unfortunately, the previous debates were largely disregarded, especially by those uninterested in the election. Most Indonesians have not been diligent in selecting their leaders.     As future leaders of the nation, many candidates offer social assistance such as money, basic necessities, or other forms of support to win over the people. Sadly, this aspect often garners more attention than the candidates' performance or backgrounds. Many Indonesians, especially those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, choose leaders or representatives based on the social assistance they receive.
